Well I am here up north on my writing spree…decided to take a nice snowy walk yesterday morning through a local wilderness park…saw an opportunity for a nice picture of some frosty trees on the other side of this huge pond…spied snowshoe tracks out there and figured hey! Ice is safe…so I take one step off the dock and go right through the ice…thankfully with just one leg. All the way up to the thigh. Wet! Cold! And a heck of a time getting out. LOL.

Talk about a wet cold leg and foot! No matches. No phone. No way out but a looong walk back with only visions of the series Man VS Wild running through my head. *grin*

So I promptly plopped down on a nearby tree, dragged off the boot, pulled off the soaked socks and wrapped my foot in my warm scarf and zapped the foot back into the wet boot…and hoofed it the heck out of there in a hurry.
Moral of the story…never follow snowshoe tracks unless you are wearing snowshoes yourself…he he he

On another note – I’ve had to put Resistance aside for awhile as the first Vampira story is back on track. The second story I have decided will be the third story and so I am using this writing spree to get the bare bones down for the second Vampira story. Wooot! Currently at 8,000 words now.

Okay, must go out and feed the chicadees and blue jays, then do some more snow shovelling the walkways (did I mention I am in the snow belt?) and back to more writing!!

Resistance – Outlaw Lovers 5!
Sitting at 30,000 words now…the week hasn’t been as productive as I had hoped since toying and plotting two other stories has entered the picture. I’ve set aside several days later on in the week to get out of town and hopefully get a writing marathon in.

Today I went shopping with Mom and we bought a couch and sofa chair to replace the thirty something furniture in their living room…lol. Both were on a really good sale and chocolate brown. Only problem is there is some vinyl on the arm rests of the couch and a lot of vinyl on the sofa chair…the cats may have a bit of fun with this…mom will be busy chasing them and their claws away.

I also bought a memory pillow and she bought one for my dad as well…dad already doesn’t like his so she’s inherited it. lol. I will try mine out tonight.

Thursday starts a warming trend in the weather *jan punching the air and hooting* and it should last several days. I’m already tired of the ice cold snap we’ve had over the past few weeks. Bring on the Spring! Please! *me dropping to my knees and praying* Alas I know in reality we still have the February blaaas to go through…

He! He! He! Okay I took a couple of days away from Resistance to plot a couple of other stories.

Returned to the story today and redid a couple of scenes as they just weren’t working right for me. This brings Resistance back to sitting at 27,500 due to the reworking.  Much much more to do! Having two dominant heroes for one heroine is turning out to be yet another challenge like Tyler’s Woman…I do love challenges!

Is sitting at 26,700 words today. I mostly concentrated on polishing what I had written last as well as continuing on with the story.  Things are tensing up between Will “Blade” Smith and Cade Outlaw when Cade discovers Reena and Blade have a past…grrrrowl!
